Brewed with love,
baked with care

More than a cup, a welcome. Dreamy Drip brings Ethiopian coffee, fresh bakes, and the warmth of the traditional coffee ceremony to Wichita.

Her story

From Ethiopia,
with warmth

Amaturahaman grew up in Ethiopia, where coffee is never rushed and never solitary. It is roasted, brewed, and poured as an act of welcome. She carried that love of slow, generous hospitality into the kitchen, spending years learning to bake before earning her culinary training in South Africa.

Now she calls Wichita home. She opened Dreamy Drip to bring a piece of where she comes from to where she lives now: the aroma of fresh-roasted beans, the patience of a proper brew, and the simple joy of feeding people something made by hand. Every cup and every pastry here carries a little of that journey.

Culture & tradition

Where coffee
was born

A jebena — the clay pot at the heart of the Ethiopian coffee ceremony.

Coffee began in Ethiopia, and its coffee ceremony is still one of the world's warmest welcomes — beans roasted, brewed, and shared, slowly.

Amaturahaman brings that ceremony to events around Wichita. For her, Dreamy Drip isn't just coffee — it's a way to share the culture she grew up with.

Every ceremony moves through three simple acts:

  1. 01

    Roast

Green beans are roasted by hand until the air fills with their aroma.

  2. 02

    Brew

The beans are ground and brewed slowly in a traditional clay pot.

  3. 03

    Share

Coffee is poured for everyone, and no one drinks alone.
